Channeling

What Is The True Source of Channeling?

ChannelingSource-EnergyHealingServicesThe spiritual leader of a group I know believes that “channeled” information cannot be questioned because it comes from a higher source. My belief is there may be more to the whole than any one “channel” perceives. I do not believe that one human mind, even channeling from a greater source, can “see’ or “know” the entirety of how the universe and our lives after death are organized.

For me, the accuracy of “channeled” information is closer to that of the story from India of the blind men describing an elephant.

The man who “feels a leg says the elephant is like a pillar; the one who feels the tail says the elephant is like a rope; he who who feels the trunk says the elephant is like a tree branch; and the one who feels the ear says the elephant is like a hand fan. . . .”

Each one is right; yet no one is wrong.

What one who channels perceives…

So it is with those who channel… As “channels,” we hear what we hear; see what we see. However, this view is limited by our personal life framework, our clarity in perceiving the message as intended, and the being who is sharing the information.

No matter who the “channeler” is or how highly regarded the unseen source of information is, what matters is what you believe and know to be true for you. Who is to say the information you have has not been “channeled” informally to you?

Because they have changed, are your beliefs from the past wrong?

ChildhoodBeliefs-HealingEnergyServicesMy beliefs have dramatically changed throughout my life and will undoubtedly continue to change as my relationship with the universe changes.

Does this mean that what I believed as a child was wrong? That what I believe now is wrong? No. As a child, my beliefs were aligned with my world as I understood it. As my world shifted, my beliefs shifted. I may be only grasping the tail of the elephant, but that is my reality now.

I caution you about accepting another’s truth carte blanche as your own. Their truth may or may not be your truth. What is true for each of us individually, in this moment, is what matters in our lives right now.
