What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a means of engaging the unconscious mind to help address issues the conscious mind is dealing with. The goal is to empower clients by assisting them resolve issues they want to change in their lives, such as excess weight, smoking, irrational fears, and difficulty moving forward in their lives. Clients learn and use self-hypnosis to reduce stress and reinforce desired behaviors.

What is Reiki?

Reiki means “life force.” Practitioners are attuned (opened to the flow of Reiki energy) by a Reiki Master. The Reiki energy then flows through them to support the healing of people, animals, inanimate objects, situations, even projects! Practitioners work without intent, allowing Reiki to go where it is needed for healing.

What is Healing Touch?

Healing Touch is a nursing certification program based on a medical model. I take a client history, complete an intake form, do a pre-assessment, provide treatment, and do a post assessment. Clients specify what they would like to have happen as a result of the session and I work with specific intent for the greatest good of the client, recognizing that I do not know what that is. Regular Healing Touch sessions provide wonderful self-care. I use aromatherapy and often incorporate ThetaHealing or other treatment modalities in the sessions.

Healing with Communication for Animals

If you would like to know more about what your animal friend (any species) thinks and feels, consider scheduling a distance session that includes communication with your friend. When I begin the healing work, I connect from my higher self to your friend’s higher self. I listen to your friend and take notes during the healing session. At the end of the session, we discuss what your friend said and the treatment findings and outcome. For an additional $25 I can send you a transcript of the session.

Healing with Clairvoyant Insights or mediumship for People

Angel readings, communication with those (human or animal) who have left this life, and clairvoyant insights are additional avenues of healing that I offer. People and animals who cannot be touched or do not want to be touched can be treated at a distance of a few feet or thousands of miles. I feel the energy and work with it in the same way I would if you or the animal were physically present. The client, whether human or animal, is aware of the treatment. The body, mind, spirit, and emotions respond in the same way they would with physical touch. The cost is the same.

Why use aromatherapy?

Therapeutic grade essential oils retain the complex chemistry of the plants from which they are derived. The olfactory nerve pathways carry the fragrance of the oil to the Amygdala where emotions are stored. This gland can be stimulated through smell. As a result, essential oils can impact our emotions.

What is Reconnective Healing?

Reconnective Healing is between the client and the universe. No intake, no discussion, no pre-/post assessment.

The client lies on the table in a state of inner observation. Neither the practitioner nor the client uses prayers, guides centering, grounding or pulling energy from the earth or heavens.

Clients lie on the table fully clothed, except for shoes, and close their eyes. The practitioner engages with the energy usually 16 to 18 inches from the body. At the end of treatment, the client tells the practitioner what they saw, heard, thought, tasted or smelled and the practitioner records it.

According to The Reconnection website: “Reconnective Healing is not about regular visits or ‘touch-ups.’ You do not need to come in for ‘weekly’ sessions or on any kind of an ‘ongoing’ basis. Once you have your session(s), you ‘own’ your change, your healing, your evolution. It’s yours. No one can take it away from you. Ever.”

What is the difference between Reconnective Healing® and The Reconnection®?

From The Reconnection:

“The intent of Reconnective Healing is essentially that of healing, be it physical, mental, emotional, spiritual or on any other level.  . . . The intent of The Reconnection is to bring us into the fullness of our inherent connection with the universe.  . . . And, of course, to achieve the degree of reconnection brought forth via The Reconnection you will, to some extent, experience healing as part of the process.”
