Dear mothers whose sons or daughters have died, who struggled to conceive and could not, who released their children through divorce or adoption, know you are not alone or forgotten. Mother’s Day is difficult for us. It often brings more painful memories than happy ones. Loss and grieving is part of loving. Though we are unseen, there are many of us. On Mother’s Day, we grieve privately, but we do not grieve alone.
